The europeans brought pigs with them and let them loose in the bush. They are everywhere by the thousands. Sometimes we see  a hundred at one time. Our grandfathers were paid a bounty on them. All they had to do is bring back the snout to collect a fee. Pigs are bad for the environment. They seek out water wholes to drink and role around in the mud. They eat tubers and plants that native animals need. People love to hunt them and cook them in an earth oven we call Kuppmarie. We feed the meat and guts to our dogs. Crocodiles like eating pigs to. They are here now and part of us.
