This painting is of one of the elders in Pormpuraaw, Veronica. She would always wear a big straw hat and carry a stick when she would walk to our beach and go fishing. She would use the stick to keep the dogs away and also she would hang the fish on it to carry them home. She is getting older now and does not walk to the beach as often.

Prints and paintings will be posted rolled up in a tube.
Postage or freight for prints, paintings, small sculptures 100cm maximum will be included in price presented.
Larger sculptures will be send via Pack and Send Cairns at the buyers expense. The Pormpuraaw Art Centre staff will assist with facilitating transport

If for some reason work does not arrive or is damaged on route then full refund is available.
The postal service from the remote community of Pormpuraaw is often delayed. Please allow an extra 1 to 2 weeks to the Australia Post expected arrival time.
Pormpuraaw Art and Culture Centre Return policy
A refund will be issued for any works not delivered. Please note that postage/freight from the remote community of Pormpuraaw can take a few weeks longer that from urban or regional centres.
If buyer does not like the work and wants a refund then they need to notify centre within 30 days of receiving work and pay for return of work. Once work is returned a refund will be made minus postage or freight sending costs.
