Erin was born in Mackay and now thrives in Gimuy (Cairns), embodying the rich tapestry of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Surrounded by artists and performers from a young age, she has spent the past decade diligently refining her artistic talents, reaching the status of an established artist. Erin’s creativity knows no bounds with her acrylic paintings, exquisite raffia baskets, intricate dillybags, and beautifully designed jewellery, with all her works focusing on engaging with her culture, with strong references to traditional songs, stories and dances. Erin is passionate about presenting her cultural knowledge to educate people about the depth and beauty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait practices and protocols.
