Karungkarni Art Books

Karungkarni Art is unique among remote Aboriginal arts centres in its long history of producing bilingual books on Gurindji history, art, culture and language.

All books have been created in collaboration with Gurindji Elders, knowledge holders, artists and linguists.

The main aim of the books is to document Gurindji knowledge systems for subsequent generations of Gurindji people. Sharing knowledge with a broader audience is also an aim.

All copyright and IP is held with Karungkarni Art, and royalties go directly towards the arts centre. Information within these books cannot be reproduced without permission of Karungkarni Art.
