This painting depicts a series of bush foods found in the region. The larger white shapes are bush yams called yarla in Warlpiri language or yangunungku in Gurindji. The smaller white caterpillar shapes are lamawurt (witchetty grubs), the dark green shapes are kilipi (bush bananas), the yellow circles are kurtakarla (bush coconuts). Honey ants are in the corner and the bush tomatoes are yellow circles on a green stalk. The seed pods represent the edible seeds of the kinyjirrka (red-flowered kurrajong) tree.
In the centre of the painting, the black U-shape is a woman sitting with her digging stick and the elliptical shaped kawarla (coolamon), the traditional symbols for the tools women use for gathering bush food.
