This painting depicts an important feature of the Gupapuyŋu cosmology, manburi (catfish). The bones of the manburi are represented as while lines. The dots in this painting refer to guku (bush honey). 

They are linked to burala (Diving Bird), nyaŋura (Long-necked Turtle) and wurrpaṉ (Emu), and to an ancestral burial pole at Gapuwiyak.
